The shipment is carried out in ecological insulated packaging made of straw or recycled paper with the addition of dry ice for active cooling with next-day delivery via DPD.
Since the effort involved is quite high, we unfortunately have to charge a 10 € small order surcharge for orders under 64 €.
Delivery on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
If you order before 7:00 on Tuesday to Thursday, we will ship your ice cream the same day and it will arrive the next day via DPD.
You can also choose a different delivery date in the shopping cart, up to several months in the future - ideal for birthdays and other events.
If the desired day is not available, then either the shipping capacities for that day have already been exhausted or the shipping or delivery day is a public holiday.
On the evening of the day of dispatch, you will receive a tracking link by email that you can use to track your package at any time. On the morning of delivery, you will see a time window of 2 hours under this link within which the package will arrive. Please keep an eye on this link on the day of delivery so that you know when your package will arrive.
Please make sure that someone is at home all day on the delivery day.

You can also have the ice cream sent to a DPD parcel shop near you. You can find the nearest one here click and then enter it as the delivery address. Many of these parcel shops are open until the evening. This means you can conveniently pick up the parcel in the evening and don't have to be on the lookout all day.

If there are public holidays during the week, the shipping and/or delivery dates may be changed. The currently valid earliest delivery date is always stated on each variety page.
Sugar and the Freezing Point of Ice Cream
Take it slow and let me thaw until I become soft. Then enjoy my full flavor. Do you want to know why ice cream without refined sugar takes a little longer to become creamy?
The freezing point of ice cream is essentially determined by the sugar content. The more sugar in the ice cream, the lower the freezing point and the softer the ice cream is, even at -18 degrees. This is known as the “freezing point shift”.
To a lesser extent, the fat content also has an influence. Unlike conventional ice cream, we consciously sweeten our ice cream with dates rather than refined sugar, and we do not add any fats.
iceDate therefore only contains the fruit's own sugar, which is present in the ingredients used, and this is of course significantly less than in conventional ice cream.
